In a small town, at the foot of misty mountains there was a young girl called Lily. Lily was a curious little girl who grew up with an adventurous spirit, and loved frolicking amongst the woods and meadows that surrounded her home. One day, wandering through the forest she came upon a crystal swan that sparkled. And this swan did not look like any other swan Lily had ever seen, its feathers twinkled under the sunlight like diamonds and threw rainbow beams to all the surrounding trees.
Transfixed by the radiant shimmer of that crystal swan, Lily stretched out a trembling hand and caressed its smooth, cold body. Her eyes widened as the swan sprung to action, wings extending gently as it took to the air. Lily did not think twice to follow, the feelings of awe and a thrill like Lily had never felt in her life running through her. They were soaring up into the sky, and Lily could make out the town they lived in receding farther and farther away, a pinprick of light against the background of everything.
Lily felt the swan take off, through the clouds she could see its crystal wings shimmering and spinning; it was a magic swan! Some thought it would takes dreams and turn them into reality, make wishes granted, bring forth the hidden talents in those who believe in its magic. And as the swan flapped its wings, it cast a spell of change upon Lily, a sense of bravery besieging her heart and filling her head with visions infinite.
On the travels of Lily and crystal swan they have met many amazing creatures and magical places. They traveled to a crystal ice palace with the snow fairies, who danced in the frosty breath. They plunged into the bottom of the sea, where sirens filled the underwater caverns with their haunting songs. The crystal swan took Lily to far greater times and places and in every corner it showed her the magic, the beauty of the universe that she hardly could imagine but breathed already for those who believed.
Lily saw herself in new ways through their travels. She learned that she was bigger and badder than what she thought; brave, stronger, competent. Alongside her was the crystal swan that enabled her to take the toughest challenges in stride and overcome odds she never even realized complicate, much less manage. And they met it all together, freakouts and moments of terror and utter certainty this was the right move and so much that no one could have anticipated, with open minds and hearts.
And in due course, the sun dipped behind the distant mountain, Lily and the crystal swan made their way back to where they had started within the wander of the forest. One last flapping of wings and the swan changed back into a statue of crystal, its eyes sparkling with thanks and adoration. Lily knew their time together was done and that the magic and friendship she had found in the crystal swan would always live in her heart.
